Jennifer Mlott

Jennifer Mlott is a multi-talented award-winning Vocalist, Choreographer and Dancer from Indianapolis, Indiana. Jennifer is also a three time National Vocal Champion and has appeared on the Nashville, Tennessee TV Show, Nashville Spotlight several times. Jennifer is the 2017 & 2018 Entertainer of the Year & Vocalist of the Year for the Kentucky Country Music Association. She also captured the 2018 Video of the Year for her Single, Different Drummer. Jennifer holds the record on the Fan Voted Charts for being the first Indie Artist to ever hold the #1 position. She held that position for 6 weeks being the first Indie Artist ever to do so.bio picWeb.jpg In October 2018, Jennifer was awarded the Rising Star of the Year for the KICMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. She also was recently named Indie Star Radio's, 2018 Female Artist of the Year and 2018 Artist of the Year for J-Man Radio in December of 2018. In December 2017, Jennifer won the Indie Artists Magazine, Humanitarian of the Year Award. She was also the recipient of 2017 Single of the Year Award on Social Stars Worldwide, as well as 2017 Best Supportive Artist and Best New Member. Jennifer was honored with a 2017 Josie Award Nomination for Artist of the Year in the Pop/Contemporary Category & 3 nominations for The Best of Indy, Nuvo Awards in Best Vocalist, Best Pop & Best Entertainer. Jenn also received a nomination for the Independent Music Awards for 2017 Best Modern Country Vocalist of the Year. Recently, Jennifer was named as a 4 time Nominee for the 2018 Josie Music Awards capturing nominations for Rising Star of the Year, 2 nominations for Song of the Year and Best Musical Collaboration with Cameron Barton. Jennifer was also a 2018 Finalist for the prestigious Nashville Universe Rising Star of the Year Award. Jennifer is a member of BMI songwriters, she is a current member of ISSA, International Singer- Songwriters Association and NACMAI, the North American Country Music Associations International. In her spare time, Jennifer serves as co-host on Indie Country Radio's, "Kickin' Country" with Rob Charles. Jennifer spends a lot of her spare time performing and raising awareness with many Charities including the Down Syndrome Foundation, Riley Children's Hospital Team Joey Foundation, Toys for Tots and Create for the Cure, a gala to raise money for children with cancer. Jennifer is also an accomplished Tap Teacher and Choreographer. She is extensively trained in tap, jazz, musical theater, contemporary, modern and ballet and has studied with tap dancer greats, Savion Glover, Jimmy Tate, Maurice Chestnut, Ivory Wheeler, Michele Long, and Linda Rees. During her competitive career, Jennifer won numerous awards and titles and was a nine time Dancer of the Year Finalist and is the 2011 Teen National Tap Champion. She is also the Assistant Director of Extreme Rhythm Project, a pre-professional tap company in Indianapolis created by Michele Long, Jennifer's long time mentor. Jennifer's students have been very successful on the dance competition circuit with her choreography. They have won numerous awards including, Overall Champion, Highest Scoring number in the competition, Most Entertaining, and Choreography Awards. She is currently working as a competitive dance judge for the National Touring, Rising Star Dance Competition. Jennifer loves to entertain and has performed at numerous venues such as the Indy 500 Mini Marathon, Indiana Pacers, Greenwood Summer Concert Series, Down Syndrome Foundation, Indianapolis Indians, Indy Fuel, Naptown Roller Girls, plus numerous festivals, charity events, and concerts. Jennifer was a guest performer at the 2018 KICMA Awards and will be taking the stage as a performer for the 2019 ISSA Awards in Atlanta, Georgia. In October 2016, Jennifer released her first Single, "When You Walked Into My Life". Jennifer released her second single, "Feathers on a Wing" in January 2017. Feathers on a Wing is a tribute to her beloved grandmother who recently passed away. Jennifer just released her latest single, I Can Count on You in July 2017. Jennifer recently released a project very near & dear to her heart. Different Drummer was released on June 30th & is a combination of both dance & vocals. Jennifer has also appeared in June 2017 & 2018 during the CMA Fest in Nashville. Jennifer released her first cd, Light Up Christmas in November 2018.
